It does not add up every single transaction, but rather tracks the number of times your players have Scored. A couple of examples will make this plain.

  1. Your player forgets to enter scores all day, and at the end of the work day, enters all of their activities in one swoop – clicking Send to Scoreboard only once. This = 1 as far as the Pulse is concerned.
  2. Your player scores 12 unique times, totaling 15 different activities throughout the day. This = 12 as far as the Pulse is concerned.

To summarize: The Pulse is meant to encourage active and frequent use of Scoreboard throughout the day, as this is the way the site functions best to help coaches track their team’s performance. The more often your players “score” the more accurate the Pulse will appear.
